WEEKLY BOAT TRIP
Day 1 – Bodrum
Bodrum is the ideal starting point for sailing to Turkey's Aegean coast. Gökova Bay is considered one of the best viewing areas in Europe. With plenty of sun, clear waters, constant blue skies, good anchorages and friendly people, this coast offers plenty of variety. There are untouched regions and coastal settlements and villages rich in natural beauty. Bodrum is a port city in the Muğla province in southwestern Turkey. The city is located on the southern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, at a point that controls the entrance to the Gulf of Gökova. In ancient times, the city was called the Halicarnassus of Caria and was famous for hosting the Mausoleum of Mausoleum, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Bodrum Castle, built by the Crusaders in the 15th century, watches over the harbor and marina. The castle grounds contain the Museum of Undersea Archeology and host various cultural festivals throughout the year.
Day 2 – Palamutbükü, İnceburun
Palamutbükü is known for having the best beaches on the Datça peninsula. The beaches are small but very beautiful. Surrounded by mountains and dotted with gardens, these beaches are known for tranquility and fresh sea air, offering the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating getaway. Located at the end of the peninsula, Palamutbükü is also famous for the ruins of the historical city of Knidos. Knidos, known for its bounty of fish, is located approximately 12 kilometers away. The waters here are crystal clear, so much so that it is believed that even if you stick a needle into the bottom of the sea, you can still see it! Go on a sea tour or just sunbathe on the beaches, watch live birds fly – there is so much to do in Palamutbükü! The people are warm and friendly. Palamutbükü is the symbol of peace, tranquility and happiness. With its friendly, warm people and magnificent natural beauties, Palamutbükü is truly a little paradise in itself.
Day 4 – Emel Sayın Bay, Selimiye Bay, Orhaniye Bay
Named after Emel Sayın, the queen and ambassador of Turkish classical music, this place is truly a wonderful holiday destination with the enchanting scent of pine trees, crystal clear seashore, impressive views of the bays and warm welcome.
Selimiye village, in Muğla province of Marmaris, is one of the pearls of Hisaronu Gulf. The ancient name of this village was Hydas, later it turned into Losta. At sunset, when the sun disappears behind the mountains surrounding the village, it gives the impression that the landscape is painted in a rich shade of red. The ancient ruins of Bybossos Hydas (Selimiye) date back to the Archaic period. One of the highest hills of the region is in Selimiye, the other is at the peak of Sarıkaya and the last one is in Kızılköy Aşarkale District, which contains the ruins of three castles. The sheep-shaped hills in the southeast are visited by foreign tourists who want to explore the castle ruins dating back to the Hellenistic period. The tomb on the south side of the square is located 100 meters from the shore and guides ships to Selimiye. Other points of interest include a watchtower, a lighthouse, a monastery and a theatre. American underwater archaeologists and scientists have been busy researching sunken ships in the region and have obtained valuable finds that are currently exhibited in the Bodrum Underwater Museum. Selimiye is frequently visited by Blue Cruise boats. Selimiye – Hisaronu – Orhaniye are like an indispensable trio. Selimiye is famous for its clean sea water, abundant fish, vegetables, fruits, almond and olive trees, the smell of fresh thyme and thyme surrounding the mountains, clean, pollution-free air, peaceful environment and warm people.
Orhaniye is highly appreciated by all holidaymakers with its deep blue sea and legendary Kızkumu beach. Take a journey through the narrow village roads to discover the village's old castle. The yachts floating in this bay offer a picturesque view. Orhaniye village offers many things to a hungry tourist. Take a walk through the village or see the beauty of the busy docks used by local and foreign yachtsmen, stay indoors or discover the local culture and cuisine – Orhaniye is full of surprises!
**one. Day: BODRUM – GUMUSLIK**
You will arrive on your yacht at Bodrum Port and you will be able to complete your check-in procedures starting from 15:30. We will spend the first night of your trip in Gumbet.
We will spend the first night in Gumbet, so you will have time to explore the old village, restaurants and historical town. Dinner will be served on the yacht and you will have the opportunity to get to know other passengers.
Day 7 – Black Island, Meteor Bay, Poyraz Harbour
Black Island (Kara Ada) is located around 5 km away from Bodrum and is renowned for the immense healing power of its sulphurous waters and mud baths. The hot water and mud from the cave are believed to restore beauty and health. The hot water has a temperature of about 29-32 degrees and flows into the sea. Here you will have the opportunity of swimming in hot waters and take a mud bath.
Meteor Hole is a place on the Black Island. It is told that a long time before a meteor fell down here. Therefore it is named Meteor Bay. Within termination sea ground you will understand that you come to Meteor Bay. The sea is in a delightful turquoise colour.
Poyraz Bay is an ideal place for diving for experienced as well as novice or first-time divers. You can watch rock formations that start to appear at the depth of 5m and descend up to 20 m. Orfoz, moray eels, starfish, octopus and various other small fish meet you on your journey. Fragments of ancient amphorae can be found at this dive site.
Day 8 – Bodrum
We will leave the boat by 10:00 after breakfast.
